The women’s doubles final at the Cincinnati Open 2025 saw second seeds Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand deliver a commanding performance to claim the title. The experienced duo outplayed Anna Panova and China’s Hanwen Guo, sealing victory in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
From the outset, Dabrowski and Routliffe showcased their trademark chemistry, dominating the net with sharp volleys and precise coordination. While Panova and Guo showed flashes of resilience, they struggled to consistently break down the Canadian–Kiwi partnership.
The first set was closely contested, but Dabrowski and Routliffe grabbed a late break to edge it 6-4. In the second set, the No. 2 seeds tightened their grip, racing to a 6-3 finish with confident serving and aggressive returns.
For Dabrowski and Routliffe, this title marks another milestone in their impressive partnership, further establishing them as one of the most formidable women’s doubles teams on the WTA Tour. With the US Open fast approaching, their Cincinnati success provides a major confidence boost as they look to carry momentum into the final Grand Slam of the season.
Panova and Guo, meanwhile, impressed by reaching the final and will look to build on this breakthrough performance in upcoming tournaments.
