BOSS OPEN 2025: Zverev, Auger-Aliassime Cruise into Quarterfinals as Stars Shine in Stuttgart

The BOSS OPEN 2025 men’s singles Round of 16 in Stuttgart delivered high-quality tennis action, with top players securing their spots in the quarterfinals. Germany’s top seed Alexander Zverev put on a masterclass in front of his home crowd, defeating France’s Corentin Moutet 6-2, 7-6(1). Zverev’s powerful serve and baseline consistency made the difference, especially in the tie-break where he dominated.

Canadian star Felix Auger-Aliassime looked sharp and focused as he took down France’s rising talent Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Auger-Aliassime showed his class with consistent groundstrokes and strong returns, continuing his promising grass court form.

Local hopeful Jeremy Engel caused a minor upset by outclassing young American Alex Michelsen 6-4, 6-4. Engel’s aggressive play and precise net approaches left Michelsen struggling to find rhythm.

In an all-American clash, Brandon Nakashima edged past Learner Tien in two tight sets, 7-6(5), 6-3. Nakashima’s experience helped him seal key points under pressure, especially during the first set tiebreak.
