As the BOSS OPEN 2025 in Stuttgart heats up, the men’s singles quarterfinal lineup promises thrilling tennis and potential upsets. With four exciting matchups on the card, fans are in for a classic grass-court showdown.
In the first quarterfinal, local favorite Jeremy Engel faces a tough test against the No. 4 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada. Auger-Aliassime is heavily favored with a 79.4% win probability, thanks to his powerful serve and slick grass-court movement. Engel, however, riding high on confidence after defeating Michelsen, could make things interesting with home support behind him.
Next, Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics takes on American No. 2 seed Taylor Fritz. Fritz, known for his clean hitting and experience on fast surfaces, enters the match with a 67% chance of winning. Fucsovics, though, is a gritty competitor and can’t be underestimated.

Later in the day, top seed Alexander Zverev will battle American No. 6 seed Brandon Nakashima. Zverev, fresh off a strong performance against Moutet, holds a 73.6% win probability. But Nakashima has looked sharp and could test Zverev’s patience in extended rallies.

The last quarterfinal is arguably the most balanced. American Ben Shelton faces Czech talent Jiri Lehecka, with Lehecka narrowly tipped to win at 54.3% probability. Both players are explosive and capable of turning matches with raw power, so expect fireworks in this one.
