Simon Larose, a former professional Canadian tennis player, transitioned into coaching after retiring from the ATP Tour. During his playing career, Larose achieved a career-high singles ranking of 189 and earned recognition for representing Canada in the Davis Cup. However, his playing career ended abruptly in 2005 following a doping violation.

As a coach, Larose worked with prominent Canadian talent, including Rebecca Marino. He collaborated with Marino during a significant phase in her career, helping her improve her world ranking and reach new milestones. After two productive years, the duo amicably parted ways, citing mutual understanding about the timing of the split, despite the positive progress they made together.
