Swiatek, Paolini, Pegula, and Noskova Power into Semis at Bad Homburg Open 2025

The Bad Homburg Open 2025 women’s quarterfinals delivered high-octane matches and standout performances as four top players secured their spots in the semifinals. Among the most eye-catching wins was by Italy’s Jasmine Paolini, who stunned Brazilian powerhouse Beatriz Haddad Maia in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5. Paolini used her quick movement and smart shot placement to outmaneuver the aggressive left-hander, booking a well-deserved spot in the final four.

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek showed her class and composure as she defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 7-6(5). Though the second set was tightly contested, Swiatek remained solid in key moments, particularly in the tiebreak, where her mental strength and flawless footwork proved decisive.

In an all-American clash, Jessica Pegula came out on top against Emma Navarro in a topsy-turvy battle. Pegula took the opening set 6-4, struggled in the second with a 1-6 drop, but regrouped brilliantly to close out the decider 6-3, advancing with her trademark consistency and clean baseline play.

Young Russian star Mirra Andreeva saw her campaign come to an end as Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic delivered a commanding 6-3, 6-3 victory. Noskova dominated with powerful groundstrokes and an aggressive return game, stamping her authority as one of the rising threats on grass.
