The Lexus Eastbourne Open 2025 saw a gripping day of action as the Women’s Singles Round of 32 delivered drama, upsets, and hard-fought battles—especially from the home favourites. Despite dropping the first set, Raducanu rallied to claim a thrilling 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-1 win, much to the delight of the Centre Court crowd.

Elsewhere on Centre Court, Britain’s Harriet Dart pushed former French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova to the limit in a high-quality three-set duel. Dart displayed remarkable grit but eventually fell short, 3-6, 7-6(4), 5-7. Another Brit, Sonay Kartal, gave her all but couldn’t hold off Jelena Ostapenko, who closed the match 6-3, 7-6(3).
